Bringing healing to marginalized people groups.

The mission of Equity Bridge is to address and close the significant gap in access and opportunities for both the BIPOC Community and those whom identify as LGBTQIA+ to receive Professional Trauma Informed Training and Direct Trauma Informed Therapeutic Services.

Inclusive, Welcoming Spaces

Included in this mission is creating welcoming and inclusive spaces that bring together both marginalized and dominant culture people groups to foster healing dialogue and experiences together.

Our Vision

To provide the latest trauma informed information and interventions to both lay and professional leaders in these marginalized communities and equip them to then offer trauma informed care within their specific communities and areas of influence.

Equity Bridge aims to provide an immersive, trauma-informed training program, offered twice a year. Our mission is to eliminate financial and resource barriers, enabling direct and equal access to this material for underprivileged communities. We also strive to remove cost barriers for trauma-informed therapeutic care. All funds raised are allocated to scholarships for the BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities, covering training, therapeutic services, and operational costs.

Our Values

Equipping Trauma-Informed Leaders

Training and equipping Trauma-Informed Leaders to take their skills and unique artistry into their own individual communities to offer education, support, and care for traumatic experiences including; childhood trauma, generational trauma, and ongoing traumatic environments.

Training

Supporting Trained Leaders

Supporting these trained individuals as they develop community groups (story groups, sharing circles, community support groups) that use the narrative story approach to help individuals tell a truer personal and collective story in order to experience increase freedom and liberation.

Supporting

Removing Barriers To Trauma-Informed Counseling

Removing barriers to professional trauma informed counseling by providing funds for direct services such as individual and family counseling or higher levels of care for individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford these services.

Removing Barriers

Lasting And Transformative Change

Lasting and transformative change only occurs when both the dominant and marginalized communities can come together in healing spaces that understand the impact of both past and present cycles of trauma for all involved.
